2022 Emmys proved to be a historical night. Our team was there live to witness the magic first hand. We covered the music industry side where some of the biggest artist in music took home their Emmys. Here's a few highlights :
Lizzo became a first time Emmy winner for her reality show "Watch out for the Big Gurrls". I think we speak for everyone that witness her acceptance speech as she left the viewers in awe. Lizzo stated "When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media, Someone fat like me, black like me, beautiful like me".
For the second time, Zendaya earned another Emmy for her role in the HBO hit Euphoria. This time around she won for "Outstanding lead actress in a drama series". She continues to inspire us all through her multi-faceted career. As her acting career continues to blossom, we're keeping a close eye on new music... Stay tuned.
