Wiz Khalifa performed our favorite hits at the National Cannabis Festival in D.C. While the event consisted of various artist, the anticipation for Wiz to hit the stage was definitely felt. Some fans saved their best "joint" for his set. The artist recently revealed that while growing up, his mom used to smoke weed while listening to music "That was my first introduction to it with her smoking, listening to Erykah Badu and lighting incense." He pays homage to his mom by saying "Smoking with Moms Is the Best" Not only does Wiz Khalifa bring the smoke in music, he made his favorite strands accessible to his fans with his own cannabis line Khalifa Kush. His Cannabis line partnered with Gage Growth Corp a premium cannabis brand. The CEO, Fabian Monaco said “Wiz is a globally recognized cannabis connoisseur,” we agree. In front of a smoked filled crowd, performing hits like "Up", complimented by his locks and laid back fit the crowd was blown away as they blazed away. Bringing a whole new wave of energy at the end of the night the Grammy nominated artist was the whole vibe. Wiz Khalifa closed out the show on a high note- literally.
